Hand-painted, or at least touched up, train engine in only (compared with French and English trains) 0-6-0 (Whyte notation) “Bourbonnais” formation. I think the driver is just visible.

Someone has carefully painted the stripes on a beware-horse-and-rider sign.
Badger cull in West Somerset
I found a better sign, so replaced the one I had posted before. News about the cull here and at Stop The Cull.
Portuguese No-overtaking I
Chunkier than Spanish cars. The gunshot in the overtaking car seems larger than normal.
Warning keep off rocks at Watchet
They have updated the previous sign at Watchet harbour. Still not a proper sign, and now the rocks are loose and wierd shaped.
Badger at Longleat
Couldn’t see any Lion signs though. (This is very close to the Safari Park.)
It’s also close to a Badger Cull area (the government is paying farmers to shoot badgers with rifles in the hope of a 15% reduction in Tuberculosis in cows).
Deer at Rio Ponsul
Portuguese deer seem to be thinner than the standard Spanish deer. Near a bridge over Rio Ponsul on the way to Castelo Branco.
Painted Cow
Someone has been adding the spots, mouth and eye. Looks more like Spanish cows than the standard Portuguese cow, but with forward slanting teats. Photo taken near Alcafozes, near the Spanish border.
