The photo was taken October 2011. It doesn’t seem to be still there.

Near Cabra in Córdoba. Of course there aren’t any deer. Only horses and goats.

Duck near Hinkley Point Nuclear Power Station

duck-uk-4

At a farm at Steart Point. The farm sells duck eggs, so that may be why the bird looks more like a goose than the traditional British duck road sign.

An even more elaborate motorbike design.

Exotic animals

Not exactly a roadsign, it’s at the exit from the port at Watchet in Somerset.

Starting from the bottom and going clockwise: Monkey, Kangaroo, Cat, Dog, Gecko, Mongoose and Duck.

Actually, not too sure about the Mongoose.

Sports car in Malaga

sportscar-1

Not sure exactly what is being forbidden here. Is it “No sportscars and nothing over 2.5 tons”? Or is it “low cars only and definitely nothing heavy”? It’s also unusual to see cars in profile on roadsigns.

Car and motorbike

New Bond Street, London. The motorbike is more elaborate than others.

Tembleque Lorry

Old-fashioned blue colour for the lorry. Helpful hint underneath.

English deer

Train in Normandy

train-fr-1

Sign at Pont de Brieux on the river Orne.

Engine has only one leading bogie, is going right to left and has better smoke compared with this English train.

2-6-0 (Whyte notation) “Mogul” formation.

Don’t climb on rocks at Watchet

rock-uk-1

“Warning! Don’t climb on the rocks.” is what it says.

This image shows an unpleasant and increasing trend to put the traditional circular and triangular signs on a square sign with an orange or grey background.
