Why collect Roadsigns? Certain road signs in Spain draw my attention because they represent human artefacts such as cars or lorries, or animals, or people themselves, with subtle variations that represent the culture and epoch from which they spring.

Many of these rare varieties are threatened by the forces of globalization and internationalization. Soon it may be too late to view them in their natural habitat. This record may preserve at least some of them for posterity.
